About this episode

The episode discusses Brandon Aiyuk's contract dispute with the 49ers, trade rumors involving Alex Highsmith, and the ranking of the 49ers' QB/RB/WR trios.

The San Francisco 49ers are dealing with serious internal drama as Brandon Aiyuk publicly calls the team “mad” and “stupid” amid his ongoing contract dispute. Is this relationship beyond repair, and what does it mean for the 49ers moving forward? We also react to Jason LaCanfora’s report that San Francisco is monitoring Steelers EDGE Alex Highsmith’s trade availability. Could the 49ers make a move to strengthen their pass rush, or is this just speculation? Plus, where do the 49ers rank among the NFL’s top QB/RB/WR trios heading into 2026? And are Brock Purdy and Mike Evans already the best new QB/WR duo in the league? All that and more in this episode of 49ers news, rumors, and analysis.
