About this episode

The episode discusses the 49ers' impressive performance against the Chargers in their second preseason game.

Despite an uneven week of practice leading up to Thursday's game in Los Angeles, the 49ers responded with an emphatic 41-17 thumping of the Chargers at "Levi's South" in their second preseason game. Rookies De'Zhaun Stribling, Kaelon Black and Romello Height made impressive early plays that set the tone for the rest of the matchup. Players on the bubble to make the 53-man roster -- notably Jacob Cowing -- also stepped up with some highlights later on, particularly on special teams. On "49ers Talk," Matt Maiocco and Jennifer Lee Chan discuss how the 49ers bounced back from their bumpy joint practice earlier in the week to beat Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers.
