In this episode, Jesse Hobson interviews Alex about his experiences in the Australian Army Aviation Corps and his transition after medical discharge.

Episode 117 and I’m joined by Alex. Alex joined the ADF back in 2012, enlisting into the Australian Army Aviation Corps as a Ground Crewman Aircraft Support. Not long after, he found himself posted to Darwin with the 1st Aviation Regiment, working on the ARH Tigers from early 2013. Unfortunately over time a number of injuries that eventually culminated in a medical discharge not long after leaving Defence in late 2019. Not every military story is about combat deployments.
