For two decades, no one noticed that she had pilfered over $50 million from the town coffers while she quietly bought horse farms and 400 horses on her $80,000 salary. She finally took a vacation and the substitute accountant found a few financial oddities. If only she'd invested in a Mikel Brown Jr. trading card, its explosive rise in value would surely have helped her recoup her ill gotten gains while she sneaked the city's money back into its proper account. Too bad! So sad!
