He is originally from Michigan and earned his B.S and M.S in Crop and Soil Science at Michigan State. He then went on to earn his Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky in Plant and Soil Science, where he focused on soil fertility. Dan’s Purdue research and extension program works to improve the overall production, profitability and environmental performance of corn production.
