In the first story, Rooter Man shows Susie how to get to the root of fear and get rid of it using James 4:7, “Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” In the second story, Nick wakes up frightened and Mom shares Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble!" It’s a promise that God is Jehovah Shammah, the Lord is Present —wherever trouble is! In the third story, Sir Lancelot teaches Lady Gwenafear to "Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light," Romans 13:12.
