About this episode

Suzy Eddie Izzard discusses her one-person production of Shakespeare's Hamlet in New Zealand.

Suzy Eddie Izzard has spent more than three decades traversing the worlds of stand-up comedy, acting, and activism. She's back in New Zealand with something a little different, a one-person production of Shakespeare's Hamlet. On a largely bare stage, she plays every character, from Hamlet and Claudius to Ophelia and Polonius. The production played Auckland last week and is now at the Soundings Theatre at Te Papa in Wellington for three nights.
