Do the Patriots have a growing problem with Christian Gonzalez?
About this episode
Mike Giardi discusses the ongoing contract issues with Christian Gonzalez and the implications for the Patriots' roster.
BSJ’s Mike Giardi comes to you just hours after the Patriots preseason finale, but starts with off-the-field news regarding Christian Gonzalez and his contract. Mike reminds you he's been reporting that the two sides haven't been close, and recent reports back that. In fact, those reports make it seem even more dysfunctional than most have described, and Mike shares some intel he's gotten. Later, he addressed Vrabel's comments on the Kayshon Boutte trade, explaining why there was no hope for Boutte in New England after A.J. Brown’s arrival. He also hits on the tumultuous summer for Gabe Jacas, who looks set to play big minutes for New England as Harold Landry remains on the sidelines. Is there still time for the Patriots to fix the EDGE room? Is Jacas ready for prime time? Giardi breaks it down. Lastly, Mike discusses his expectations for roster cutdown day on Sunday. 00:00 Intro 02:25 Gonzalez latest 15:08 PrizePicks 16:23 Could Gonzalez be traded? 18:41 What will happen if he’s still not signed by week 1? 20:18 Mike Vrabel addresses Boutte trade 24:27 Gabe Jacas’ concerning summer 30:37 Expectations for Cutdown Day 31:42 Thanks for watching The All 32 NFL Podcast on…
