Bert's Back & Nobody's Happy, Ian's Lady Macbeth Moment & the Borchester Show Countdown | Archers Week in Review
About this episode
Philippa discusses Bert's troubling return, Ian's questionable decisions, and the upcoming Borchester Show amidst various character developments.
It's just Philippa this week — flying solo while Quentin represents the podcast at Katie and Simon's wedding. Huge congratulations to the happy couple. Bert is back from Clive's and he is worse than ever. Philippa has many thoughts, none of them positive. Meanwhile Ian is doing a full Lady Macbeth behind Adam's back, visiting Alice when he thought Adam would be out, and Philippa is genuinely worried about what he might do next. Adam, remarkably, is the voice of reason this week. Tony digs up something in the garden that turns out not to be the time capsule and not to be worth very much either. Chris has a year to wait for his flat. Brian makes Welsh rarebit. And the Borchester Show is almost here. Plus: why Tracey needs to find her inner strength and let Bert go, the mystery of where Bert's money has gone, whether Fallon might prefer life with Chris to life with Harrison, Keira standing up for herself, and some very strong feelings about butterfly farms in a heatwave. Star of the Week, Twit of the Week, highly accurate predictions, and a special clip from Katie and Quentin at the wedding at the end of the YouTube version. Topics covered: Bert | Tracey Fuller | Susan Carter | Neil…
