Ep. 571 - Bloody Brilliant Beers (D'arcy Gannon & Josh Clutterbuck)
About this episode
D'arcy Gannon and Josh Clutterbuck from Bloody Brilliant Beers discuss their podcast journey, a world record achievement, and their creative projects.
Longtime mates of the show and veterans of the yarning game Clutz and D'arce from Bloody Brilliant Beers join us to catch up. A lot has happened since the boys were last on the show. They give a brief look behind the curtain into how their show began and how it has changed over the 6+ years of recording it at the iconic Caxton Hotel. We cover one of their recent greatest achievements, breaking the world record for having a beer in every Australian state in record time and the adventure that they endured battling flights and hangovers to get the record. They dive deeper into their journey with the World's Most Ordinary Rig contests with Budgy Smuggler and how they've recently hit their stride creatively in workshopping new shows and segments, including an upcoming preview on their satirical news show "A Caxton Affair". We finish off by chatting about each of the boys' side hustles, including D'arcy's engagement ring business and Clutz's interest in cards and collectibles. It was unreal to get these legends back on for a yarn and a great catch up as they continue to put in the work and fly the flag for yarning like we do. Enjoy trendsetters.
