From Ephesians 1:19–23, he explains that Christ has been made Head over all things for the Church, and the Church is His body through which He speaks, acts, and fills the earth with His presence. Believers are the Ekklesia—God’s called-out people—commissioned to influence every sphere of society, from government and business to education, media, science, and family life. The Church is not meant to exist on the sidelines of the world; the world is meant to be influenced from the center by the Church. Apostle Sydney emphasizes that every believer has been called out and sent back into the world as Christ’s representative. Just as the body acts on behalf of the head, believers are the means through which Christ accomplishes His agenda on earth.
