The Big Five Project returns for the first time in 2026 and in this installment, we are knee deep into all the action and stories from the summer of 1996. We first take a look at one of the most important moments in pro wrestling history, and the biggest heel turn ever....Hulk Hogan abandoning the Hulkamaniacs and forming the nWo at Bash at the Beach '96! From there it is on to Summer Slam '96. The event was largely mediocre, save for the final two matches. One saw an epic Boiler Room Brawl between Mankind and The Undertaker, including an unbelievable heel turn at the end of that match as well. Still celebrating his boy hood dream coming true, WWF Champion, Shawn Michaels, defended his title against the massive Vader.
