"When God Does It for Them but Not You" | Pastor Bobby Chandler | Is God Still Good?
About this episode
Pastor Bobby Chandler discusses the challenge of understanding God's goodness when prayers seem unanswered, using the biblical story of Peter and James as a backdrop.
What do you do when you watch God answer someone else's prayer while you're still waiting on yours?Acts 12 gives us one of the hardest pictures of faith in Scripture. Peter is miraculously rescued from prison—but just before that, James is killed. Why did God rescue Peter but not James? In this message, Pastor Bobby Chandler tackles the difficult question: Is God still good when He doesn't do what we prayed for? We'll discover that God's goodness isn't measured by our circumstances or outcomes. God sees the entire story when we can only see the chapter we're living in.You'll also learn how to break toxic patterns that have been passed down through generations, stop living for people's approval, and trust God even when you don't understand what He's doing.God is still good—even when you don't understand. The sermon emphasizes that God's goodness isn't determined by circumstances but by His character, and later explains that we judge God from our current “chapter” while He sees the entire story.GIVING To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://authenticchurch.com/give GET CONNECTED Ready to check out Authentic Church in…
