Megan Durkan "You don't know if there is a good dinner in that house"
About this episode
Megan Durkan shares her journey from a challenging upbringing to becoming a successful business owner and makeup artist.
Megan Durkan, from Swinford in County Mayo, is a successful business owner, makeup artist, and tutor. This podcast is a prime example of the saying: "never judge a book by its cover". On the outside, Megan is always positive, always in good form, and always striving to make her clients feel better about themselves. But behind closed doors, Megan has faced a roller coaster of a childhood and life. She speaks very openly and honestly about a difficult upbringing in Chicago, the heartbreaking loss of her best friend and mother, experiences that shaped the woman she is today.
