This week Raven and Campbell discuss plot holes, bad educators, and possibly the worst dialogue known to humankind in the 2022 musical film, The Magic Flute. Queen of the Night aria used for the playtime segment was performed by Rainelle Krause with the English National Opera for a 2023 run of The Magic Flute. The Night Queen Recipe: -2 oz sesame cream* (black sesame seeds, sugar, water, coconut cream) -1 oz Jagermeister -0.5 oz Empress 1908 gin Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled glass and enjoy! *Add ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, and ½ cup of toasted black sesame seeds to a sauce pan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Allow to cool and blend until mixture is homogeneous. Add 3 tbsp coconut cream and blend until smooth.
