Matt Johnson discusses his record-setting run across Texas and the impact of his fundraising efforts for veterans.
Matt Johnson knows what it means to go all-in. This fall, he ran 880 miles across Texas, from the Oklahoma state line all the way to Mexico — finishing in 19 days, 3 hours, and 32 minutes, and setting the record for the fastest time run across the state. Along the way, Matt raised over $140,000 for ValorFit, an organization supporting veterans through fitness-based community programs. In this episode of Breakfast with Boz, Matt joins Ian to talk about the physical and mental demands of the run, the why behind the mission, and the power of endurance to create meaningful impact.
