Rev. Teer Hardy discusses the implications of the resurrection on personal bravery and faith.

Because of the Resurrection… We Do Not Have to Pretend We Are Brave John 20:19-31 Easter Sunday April 12, 2026 Rev. Teer Hardy Because of the resurrection, because of the presence of Christ and the gifting of the Holy Spirit, you do not have to pretend to be brave. You do not have to fake certainty. You do not have to hide your fear or doubts. Christ shows up before you have unlocked the door. Before you have sorted it all out. All you have to do is be where you are. Because where you are is where Jesus shows up. In the middle of the room you thought would keep the world at bay. In the middle of fear that has not gone away. He stands in front of you and says, “Peace be with you.” Not because everything is fixed. Not because everything is clear. But because he lives.
