Refestramus Episode information: Episode 836 of the Pennsylvania Rock Show welcomes one of Pittsburgh’s most unique and genre-defying underground bands, Dros Monarch . Host Bill sits down with the four musicians behind the project to discuss how a random group of local musicians evolved into one of the city’s most original heavy music acts. According to the band, “Four random dudes you ain’t never heard of from Pittsburgh who happen to play complementary instruments found themselves in the same room one day. They made noise and began to show up in that same room a few times a week. The noise began to take shape and before they knew it songs had formed.” Those four musicians—Eric, Ronald, Justin, and Marcus—turned spontaneous jam sessions into something much bigger. What began as experimentation became a fully realized band built around creativity, chemistry, and a willingness to ignore traditional genre boundaries.
