Justin Woodbury shares his journey as a financial advisor and the impact of his son's autism on his life and career.
Justin Woodbury is a financial advisor, podcaster, and speaker, but the titles he is most proud of are husband to his beautiful wife, Emily, and father to two amazing children, Jackson and Juliette. In 2016, Justin’s life drastically changed when, at just two years old, Jackson was diagnosed with severe autism. Through that incredible journey, Justin learned to value different ways of thinking and living. Where most people welcome normal or the status quo, he learned to embrace different. For that and so much more, Justin will forever be grateful and humbled that God gifted their family Jackson, who is perfect as he is. During his time as Chief Marketing Officer at an IMO, Justin visited dozens of financial advisors’ offices across the country. He began to notice that the conversations he had with advisors in their offices and homes were different from the conversations they had at IMO headquarters or industry events. Advisors opened up to him about their concerns, goals, frustrations, and aspirations in ways they often wouldn’t have in a more formal environment.
