In Luke 1:67–80, God breaks centuries of silence with a message of hope, declaring that the suffering, separation, and darkness that have plagued humanity would not last forever because the Savior was coming. This was the beginning of the end of hopelessness, the beginning of the end of sin’s power, and the beginning of God changing everything through Jesus Christ.
