In this episode, Jim takes control of the ship Hispaniola, leading to unexpected confrontations with Israel Hands.

Climbing aboard the Hispaniola, Jim is surprised to see no one on deck, until he catches sight of Israel Hands. After giving Hands the brandy he begged for, he tells Hands he is taking over the ship. The ship grounds on the beach and Israel tries to take Jim out.
