Paul wants us to remember the impact of Jesus' life on our lives; 1 Remember what you were once without Christ. 2 You were strangers without God and without hope. Life without God is meaningless. There's an invitation, as you take communion to remember the depth and reality that in Christ - through his death and resurrection - you have been brought near. So let's come to him in fresh surrender expectant of the reality of heaven on earth breaking out in our everyday.
