Why me? I get this question often after my signature keynote: Do I ever think “Why me? Why did this happen to me?” I don’t. Ever. But the “why me?” question I DO reflect on is: Why was I able to overcome and become who I am today? We each get to choose whether we’re moving forward or moving backward in our lives. I don’t believe we stay neutral. Sometimes the choice is small. Sometimes it’s big. Sometimes it’s reaffirming a choice we’ve already made, or choosing differently next time. What anchors my “why me” is simple: I chose — and continue to choose — to love. ❤️ About Trish: To give love is a choice.
