Why do those things ultimately fail to satisfy? Introduction Our culture is obsessed with identity. People search for meaning and worth through: success appearance relationships feelings sexuality accomplishments social approval And yet many are left saying: “I just don’t know who I am anymore.” In John 8, Jesus confronts a group of religious leaders who also found their identity in the wrong place. They trusted in: heritage religion morality tradition But Jesus exposes the emptiness of those foundations and reveals where true identity is found: In Him.
