Mea Marie is a humanitarian, activist and independent journalist who sailed as a volunteer on the last Sumud Flotilla bringing aid to Gaza, whose inhumane treatment only scratches the surface of the everyday reality for Palestinians living under occupation. She describes in detail the physical torture, psychological abuse, sadism and psychopathy of her captors but also the solidarity, bravery, and heroism of her peers.
