Before Deep Woods Paranormal, there was California Ghost Hunters. In this episode, Matt Harvey revisits a case from the team’s early investigation history: a rented storage unit at a public storage facility that became one of the most active object-attachment cases they ever worked. This was not a normal haunted house investigation. The activity did not appear to be attached to the clients themselves. Instead, the case pointed toward objects inside the storage unit — objects that may have been haunted, cursed, spiritually contaminated, or connected to darker attachments. The reports included loud unexplained bangs, talking when no one was there, multiple types of activity, and EVPs. Before entering the building, the team performed spiritual protection outside the storage facility. During that protection, they captured what sounded like something laughing at them. During the case, the clients also reported disturbing activity at home, including a gas stove turning on without the pilot light igniting, emotional heaviness affecting their daughter, and other negative events.
