The aim of this joint project by the Savoring the Savior Fellows is to unpack the theology of the fourfold state of man for the building up of the ordinary Christian. Because we are created for God, our souls find their only true Sabbath in Him. Through the Scriptures, God provides the dual knowledge of the Creator and the self—a knowledge that guards against idolatry and anchors the soul in true worship.
