About this episode

Beth Ann discusses the importance of recognizing our enemies today, drawing parallels to historical events and the Declaration of Independence.

5/4/26 – "Recognize the Enemy" – I would be totally remiss if I did not say this… “May the 4th be with you.” I had to say it, as my children grew up during the Star Wars popularity. AND I will add one thing for sure… Luke Skywalker and Princes Leah knew who their enemy was. Do we recognize the enemy today? We must work at this… and understand paragraph 20 of our Declaration of Independence: “…He has… sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance… He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions… the State remaining, in the meantime, exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.” Back in both the revolutionary war and our civil war, our enemies used others. (in this case America’s Indigence people/ tribes) Were these the enemies, OR was the real enemy those who bargained with them to murder…?
