What's Going On With The Bullpen?
About this episode
The episode discusses the struggles of the Cubs bullpen following recent blown leads and explores potential changes to the pitching lineup.
After blowing two late leads on Monday and Tuesday against the Brewers, it's time to address what is going on with the Cubs bullpen. We know that blown leads can happen, but it's starting to become an area of concern. On this episode of Cubs Now, Lance thinks that velocity is down all throughout the 'pen, Palencia hasn't been the Palencia that we saw in the World Baseball Classic, and is it worth adding Justin Steele or Edward Cabrera into the mix without knowing what could happen? Also, what's the plan with Javier Assad? A lot of questions with very few answers on the latest episode of Cubs Now.
