About this episode

Siddhesh Lokare shares his inspiring journey from the slums of Lower Parel to making a difference in education across Maharashtra.

You know an episode is good when Cyrus slowly stops joking and starts listening properly. Siddhesh Lokare joins Cyrus to talk about growing up in Mumbai, studying beside bathroom lights, crashing lectures for content, paying Taj hotel bills in coins, and eventually travelling across Maharashtra trying to fix schools one village at a time. There are moments in this episode that are hilarious. There are moments that are genuinely heartbreaking. And then there are moments where Cyrus completely derails the conversation for absolutely no reason. So basically: perfect Cyrus Says episode. Also fair warning: After this episode you may suddenly feel guilty about complaining about Mumbai traffic. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
