EPISODE S2E06: "Evil Dead Burn" (2026) Welcome back to Dad, You're Wrong, the podcast where a Gen X dad and his millennial son keep score on this year's horror slate. Sébastien Vaniček, the man who made the excellent Infested, takes the sixth Evil Dead its own direction: a grieving widow heads to a remote family house to mourn her husband with his in-laws, and the weekend curdles into what some are calling the nastiest, bloodiest entry in the franchise. Eric walked out having had a good time. Josh walked out having timed the good parts, and he clocks about three watchable minutes in a nearly two-hour movie. This one is a real split. Josh, who is currently trying to cut hyperbole out of his vocabulary, wants it on record that he means it: he would sit through a Batman and Superman double feature before this again.
