Carter and Magnus encounter a shapeshifting puppy that challenges them in a battle of wits.

A mysterious spaceship crashes into the intermediate area, and inside Carter and Magnus find something unexpected: an adorable sleeping puppy. But this is no ordinary dog. The moment Carter touches it, the puppy transforms into an exact copy of him: armor, sword, powers and all. Soon Carter and Magnus are trapped in a wild shapeshifting battle against a creature that can mimic almost anything. Can Carter outsmart the strange new arrival before it copies his whole team?
