Carloalberto shares his journey as a DJ and music curator, highlighting his passion for discovering unique sounds and his work with his label NPLGD.

I’m Carloalberto, born in Piacenza in 1993 and grew up surrounded by my dad's vinyl records during the golden era of Italian nightclubs. I’m a DJ and a passionate digger, with a knack for uncovering hidden musical gems. During my 15 years of irrational passion for music I was lucky enough to be able to collaborate with many of most prominent clubbing institutions, bringin’ my records around Europe in some of the most (in)famous Booths in Rome, Milan, Berlin, Paris, London, Istanbul, Tblisi and many other cities. I’m a passionate DJ constantly on the hunt for new and vintage sounds that could make each set truly unique. I like to define my selection as eclectic, spanning from warm, bouncy house grooves to darker, electronic textures. I can’t stop to study, go deep and research for infectious flows, rare finds, and unreleased gems. Since 2022, I’ve started curating and developing my small independent label, NPLGD, to step by step release my and my best friends’ undiscovered tracks.
