Je kunt aan het eindresultaat voelen dat het met heel veel passie en liefde gemaakt is.” Marieke maakt als beeldend kunstenaar prachtige, poëtische en prikkelende kunstwerken in de openbare ruimte. Zelf noemt ze haar werk ‘stedelijke acupunctuur’: kunst als kleine naaldenprikjes in de stad die je een andere kijk op de stad, de werkelijkheid van alledag én jezelf geven.
