Six whole years ago, in February of 2020, James Marsden, Jim Carrey and Sonic the Hedgehog sparked an idea in our heads. With box office hits like Sonic and Detective Pikachu, a Super Smash Bros. Cinematic Universe felt inevitable. Well, after half a decade of corporate slop and two Chris Pratt Mario movies, an SSB-CU just isn't as appealing as it used to be. Despite that, we're pitching one anyway. So, you're welcome, I guess. Matt is doing Rocky but Nintendo. Todd is doing Star Wars but Nintendo. Andrew is doing something else.
