Violence in health care settings is a growing problem in Kentucky and in other states as well. It is now a felony to assault a health care worker punishable by one to five years in prison. Teresa Brown is a nurse and writer who lives in Pittsburgh and has written numerous books about her experience as a nurse. She talks about a recent episode of violence in the workplace that left her shaken.
