About this episode

The episode explores the mysteries surrounding Avallen and its connection to the Maasverse, including character insights and popular theories.

It’s finally time to dig into one of the biggest questions in the Maasverse: What’s going on with Avallen? This week we’re breaking down the misty isle to the North, and we definitely have more questions than answers! We’re chatting about why the mists around Avallen parted for Bryce and Helena, what’s going on with those wards that extend Beneath, and why the Prison and Avallen seem to be identical? Plus we’re diving into Morven, his stag throne (ew!), his powers, and his mysterious sensitivity to Truth Teller. And finally we’re wrapping up with a popular internet theory - is Cormac really dead? All that (and more) in this week’s episode! NOTE ON SPOILERS: This episode will have spoilers for both ACOTAR and Crescent City. If you have not read every book in both the A Court of Thorns and Roses and Crescent City series, beware! We will also have a section at the end for full Maasverse spoilers, including Throne of Glass - but we will include a spoiler warning in the episode for that!
