#845 - Tough test against Illini awaits
About this episode
The episode previews the upcoming game between the Duke Blue Devils and Illinois while discussing related events and a tribute.
The Duke Blue Devils hit the road this weekend for a big test on the gridiron against Illinois. We preview the game on Episode 845. The Illini won their opening game last weekend against UAB, and Jason and Donald go through what they did well and some areas that Duke could create an advantage. It’s a tough game, but if Duke plays well and improves in some areas, they have the ability to beat Illinois and make a statement in the process. We then get into some of the details of the activities that will take place before and during Countdown to Craziness on October 3rd. From a fan fest in K-Ville to tours and a dunk contest, Countdown sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun! Plus, it’s the best time to be introduced to the women’s and men’s basketball teams, and we like that there’s a lot of activities for everyone regardless of whether they have a ticket. We end on a sad note with a tribute to Cindy Hemmerich, wife of our friend Mike who passed away suddenly on Monday night. Make sure you’re following us!
