About this episode
The episode discusses the importance of unlearning harmful habits and mindsets that do not serve one's spiritual connection with Allah.
Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu. Sometimes we get so used to the world around us that we start to accept habits and mindsets as "normal" that don’t actually serve our souls or our connection with Allah. In this episode, we’re having a gentle reflection on unlearning the things we’ve unintentionally let drift into our lives. These are just a few of many behaviors that can quietly dim our light, from the way we navigate digital spaces to how we settle for less in our personal standards. Allah says in the Qur’an, "And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers" (51:55). This isn't about being perfect; it's about coming back to ourselves with love and choosing what truly honors the woman Allah created us to be. Let’s sit down together and rediscover the peace that comes when we prioritize His pleasure over the "norm." Please note: This is a reminder to myself foremost before I share with my dear sisters.
