God is actively working all around you right now, but many Christians live as functional deists, believing God exists but isn't involved in daily life. This leads to exhausting self-reliance as we try to figure everything out alone. The key shift is asking not 'What is God's will for my life?' but 'Where is God working so I can join Him?' God has the complete perspective on your life like someone watching a parade from a water tower, while you only see from the curb. When you develop an intimate relationship with God, He becomes your guide, leading you step by step into His ongoing work in your neighborhood, workplace, and world.
