Martindale Back to Stabilize Livingston | Edinburgh News
About this episode
David Martindale returns as interim manager for Livingston to stabilize the team after a poor start to the season.
David Martindale is back in the dugout for Livingston, stepping in as interim manager after a rocky start to the season — just two wins in five games, seventh in the table. With relegation last year still fresh, the club needs points fast and is casting a wide net for a permanent manager, even looking overseas. Martindale, though he misses coaching, sees this as a short-term fix to stabilize the team while they hunt for the right successor. He’s focused on the upcoming clash with bottom-of-the-table Greenock Morton, aiming to keep pressure off players and boost morale during this transitional phase.
