Determined to defend Jesus, Peter believed the battle would be won through force. But Jesus stopped him, picked up the severed ear, healed the very man who came to arrest Him, and revealed a completely different way to respond. While Peter answered betrayal with an attack, Jesus answered it with forgiveness. This message explores the power of pressing pause before we react, showing how God's greatest victories often come not through retaliation, but through grace, mercy, and obedience.
