The old self must die for the new self to live. Transformation requires death of who you've been. Identity is the trio: memory, knowledge, experience. There's a book on my shelf—"Predictable Irrationality"—the art of observing your nonsense. I like tobacco, accept that I like it, not at battle with myself. I got broken up with month ago—best relationship I've ever had, never loved someone so deeply. God did this for me. Higher lows on the chart—where are the higher lows in your life? If you're always healing, then you're never healed. Tune a motor—sometimes takes iterations, running too rich or too lean. You're traveling to hell voluntarily holding your torch. If your roots don't go down to depths of hell, you'll never touch the light. That's what my life has been—send me to hell so I have strength to carry others out with me.
