In one of his defining roles, Warwick Davis stars as The Leprechaun, a malevolent supernatural being who is obsessed with his gold coins, killing anyone who comes into possession of them. When teenager Tory (Jennifer Anniston) arrives to spend the summer at her father's new country farmhouse, dim-witted contractor Ozzie Jones (Mark Holton) accidentally releases The Leprechaun from his capture in the farmhouse's basement, and he goes on a rampage to get his coins back, which Ozzie and 10-year-old Alex (Robert Hy Gorman) found nearby.
