264: Killer Clown, John Wayne Gacy | USA - Part 1
About this episode
The episode explores the case of John Wayne Gacy, focusing on the disappearance of Robert Piest and the subsequent investigation that revealed Gacy's dark secrets.
In December 1978, 15-year-old Robert Piest vanished after leaving work to meet a potential employer. His disappearance led investigators to John Wayne Gacy, a respected Chicago businessman, political volunteer and community entertainer known as "Pogo the Clown." At first, Gacy appeared cooperative, but detectives soon uncovered a disturbing pattern of missing young men connected to him. As surveillance intensified, inconsistencies in Gacy's story mounted. Then investigators noticed a foul odour emanating from beneath his suburban home—a discovery that would change the course of the investigation forever. #TrueCrime #JohnWayneGacy #RobertPiest #SerialKiller #Chicago #ColdCase #EvidenceLocker Books: Read collections of The Evidence Locker Files , available in print and digital editions.
