The sermon explores Jesus' journey to Jerusalem and the significant moments along the way as described in the Gospel of Luke.

In Luke 9:51, we read that "Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem." This journey to Jerusalem reaches its resolution as he approaches Jericho in Luke 18:35. Along the way, Jesus preaches some of His most memorable parables and finds Himself navigating popularity and oppression. Repeatedly, the gospel writer Luke calls our attention to whom Jesus is speaking, so this summer we find ourselves among the crowds.
