Sr. Ann reflects on the readings for Pentecost and the role of the Holy Spirit in declaring Jesus as Lord.

Please note: There are different readings this Sunday for the Pentecost Vigil Mass and Sunday morning Mass. In this episode, Sr. Ann reflects on readings for Sunday morning. We have arrived at the Feast of Pentecost. We are all part of the Body of Christ and we all have a part to play so that Jesus may be known. Anyone can declare that Jesus is Lord – but we must do more than simply say the words. We can only truly understand and accept that Jesus is Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is in this manner that he becomes our Lord, God, Savior and Redeemer. Is the Holy Spirit awake in you? Can you testify to the goodness of God and the presence of God and the power of God and the wisdom of God? Let the Holy Spirit dwell in you that you might declare Jesus Christ is Lord.
