Sr. Ann reflects on the Gospel parable of the weeds and encourages listeners to seek God's help in removing distractions from their lives.
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus tells a parable of a farmer whose enemy sewed weed seeds into his fields. At the harvest, his laborers collect the weeds and burn them. The devil is the enemy who sews seeds into our lives to distract us from Jesus. Don’t let the weeds grow in your life. Ask God for the power to remove them in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
