About this episode
Sr. Ann reflects on the importance of understanding the Scriptures beyond the literal interpretation.
In today’s Gospel, the Pharisees try to trick Jesus by asking him a question about a woman marrying her late husband’s brother. They were misled. Their eyes were blinded, because they were so focused on the letter of the Law they failed to comprehend its meaning. They missed all that God wanted to give them. If you set aside your pride and be docile to God’s Word, He will not allow you to be misled. Sr. Ann reflects on today’s readings: 2 Timothy 1:1-3, 6-12 Psalm 123:1b-2ab, 2cdef Mark 12:18-27 Sr. Ann’s Books Deeper Conversion Extraordinary Grace for Ordinary Times More of the Holy Spirit Captured By Mercy This is a public episode.
