Preview Pod: Will Fulham finally score a goal this weekend?
About this episode
The episode previews Fulham's upcoming match against Aston Villa, discussing the team's recent scoring issues and potential managerial changes.
Make no mistake, it's been pretty drab lately. Fulham haven't scored in five of the last six games, and the only teams that we have netted against since the start of March are relegation fodder like Burnley and Tottenham. So, after the uneventful 0-0 draw at Brentford, what better than another Saturday lunchtime clash against Champions League-chasing Aston Villa? Join Sam and Kish as they try to work out who in this Fulham squad could possibly get us firing in front of goal again, let alone winning. They also discuss Villa's season, Unai Emery's reputation, and whether Morgan Rogers can continue to mug off xG with Dan Lambert from the Villa Park Podcast. And as silly season approaches, they reflect on the managerial merry-go-round and which of a former Brentford boss (Frank) and a former Chelsea boss (Rosenior) would be more welcome in the Craven Cottage dugout next season if there were to be a vacancy. All that and more in your home to Aston Villa preview. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
